What is Masterplan PACE?
PACE stands for Personalized AI Coaching Experience. It is an open AI-based learning function (in the form of a chatbot) from Masterplan.com that is accessible to learners on selected Masterplan Courses.
PACE enables effective training that is tailored to the learning style and skill level of each individual. In direct exchange with the AI-based learning coach, employees apply their acquired knowledge directly into practice. This "learning by doing" approach increases the transfer of learning throughout the company.
How does PACE work?
PACE-based lectures are accessible on selected Masterplan courses. The learners start a chat and PACE takes on a role tailored to the course content, giving the learners a task from their everyday work.
Learners can respond to the questions or ask their own questions if a topic is unclear. PACE is also curious! It always follows up to ensure that learners can apply their newly acquired knowledge.
PACE helps the individual to reflect on their learnings and how to apply the newly acquired techniques. It can also act as a negotiator or persistent authority figure and involve learners in scenarios from everyday working life rather than just asking questions.

In which languages can PACE be used?
PACE is available in German and English, but can be switched to any language that we offer in our subtitles.*

Who creates/utilizes the prompts?
The prompts are created by the Masterplan Content Team. The Product and Engineering Teams are responsible for their implementation and development.
What to be aware of when using Masterplan PACE.
Masterplan has built this scenario in order to deepen, apply, and review learned knowledge. However, as Masterplan PACE is an AI Tool, answers from the AI can be inaccurate in rare cases. If such a case arises, please re-start the conversation by clicking the "Reset Chat" button. In addition, please do not include any personal information in the chat to avoid processing of personal information by Masterplan PACE.
How can learners access PACE?
Information on how to access PACE can be provided by the Customer Success Team.
How is the tool onboarded?
The Masterplan Team (our dedicated engineers and content team) will set up PACE.
Is PACE available for all courses and lessons? Can it be added to every lecture?
Currently, PACE is available for selected courses. Managers can use these selected courses and add them to their learning paths. You can also target our "PACE" lessons by entering “PACE” in our search.
What responsibilities does the manager have?
All onboarding of PACE is carried out by the Masterplan-Team. The manager does not have the ability to create prompts at the moment. PACE is available on selected courses and lessons that a manager can add to their company learning paths.

What data does PACE collect and who has access to chat content?
Masterplan PACE complies with the applicable data protection regulations. The chatbot is a technical solution that does not require the transmission of personal data.
Learners create prompts in their chats with PACE (in the form of answers, instructions or questions to the AI). These prompts are transmitted via an interface to the chat tool and back to Masterplan. This ensures that only the user's prompts and no personal data are transmitted to the AI-based chat.
The chat content is not stored by the AI chat provider. The chat logs are only accessible to learners during their sessions with PACE. Managers and administrators of the using companies cannot view chat content or learning outcomes.
Can managers access or read the chats between learners and PACE?
No, managers do not have access to the chat histories between their learners and PACE. All chats are inaccessible once the session has been completed.
In addition, Managers or administrators can't access the prompts. Therefore, they have no influence on the results of learners' training with Masterplan PACE.
This also means that they will not be able to see the active progress of the learners as they engage with PACE. However, managers will still be notified when a learner has completed a learning path, therefore, indicating a successful completion and interaction with the different lesson scenarios.
How do learners receive points with PACE?
Currently, there is no moving pointing system for PACE. Since, there are no right or wrong answers when engaging with the different personas. The scenarios will occur until the learner feels comfortable with the subject and has completed the taks assigned to them.
Do they need to mention all of the keywords in order to successfully finish the lecture?
No, the current state of PACE is set up to engage with the learners. This is subject to change in the future.
How does a learner know if they have successfully completed the scenario?
When the learner has successfully completed all of the questions that have been asked by PACE and the learner has no outstanding questions of their own, the scenario is complete and the learner can move onto the next lesson.
Can a learner repeat the PACE-based lecture, if they have already completed it? Will the scenario be different?
Yes, learners will be able to repeat the PACE-based lecture, just like all other course lectures. Similar to other lessons, the questions and prompts are the same. The learner can, however, have a different experience, if they ask new questions.
Can a learner download the chat histories with PACE after they have completed the scenario?
No, due to data security precautions, learners will not be able to either download or view their chat histories with PACE once they have completed the scenario.
How are we (MP) going to proceed with PACE in the long run? Do we include it in more LPs?
