✅ Step-by-Step Implementation
1. Provide Configuration Data
All required information is listed here: Masterplan Developer Manual – SAML Setup
- See section "Setup Requirements"
- A detailed step-by-step guide is available under "Resources" on the same page
2. Setup by Masterplan
Once we receive the configuration data:
- We’ll configure the SSO on our end
- We’ll then provide all remaining parameters needed to complete the setup on your side
3. Final Testing & Completion
- Functional testing on both sides
- Once successful, the setup is considered complete
🚫 Optional: Enforcing SSO Login
- Enforcing SSO is optional, but possible once the setup is fully functional
- Please note: Enforcement applies only to new users created via SSO
- For existing accounts, we require written confirmation in order to delete stored passwords and enforce SSO access
⚠️ Important Note
Due to the simultaneous use of SAML SSO and SCORM, we cannot guarantee full compatibility.
Mixed integrations are not officially supported, even though SCORM is technically not considered a true integration.
Notes on implementation
- The faster we receive the necessary data, the faster implementation can begin.
- We cannot influence delays beyond our control (e.g., due to third-party systems).
- Support in third-party systems is only possible to a limited extent, as we cannot assume any responsibility there.
- In order to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, we ask that you involve the necessary people on your side at an early stage, be it your IT department or any LMS service providers.
