With an LTI 1.3 integration, you can embed Masterplan content directly and securely into your Learning Management System (LMS). Here's how the process works:
1. 🔍 Check LMS Compatibility
Ensure that your LMS supports LTI 1.3 and LTI Advantage. Commonly supported systems include Moodle, Canvas, ILIAS, Blackboard, and Brightspace.
2. 🔧 Provide Configuration Details
Please share the following details with us:
- Client ID
- Deployment ID
- Public Keyset URL
- Access Token URL
- OIDC Auth Request URL
- Platform Issuer (iss)
You can find these values in your LMS's LTI 1.3 configuration section.
3. 🛠 Setup by Masterplan
Once we receive your configuration data:
- we will set up the connection on our side.
- we will generate all values you need to enter into your LMS (e.g. Tool URL, Initiate Login URL, Public JWK URL, Deep Link Return URL).
4. 🔗 Add Tool to Your LMS
You enter the values provided by Masterplan into the respective configuration screen in your LMS. Optionally, you can enable services like Deep Linking or Grade Return, depending on your platform's capabilities.
5. ✅ Joint Test & Go-Live
- Together we will perform a brief test (e.g. launch link, user transfer).
- After a successful test, the tool is ready for productive use.

- The faster we receive the necessary data, the faster implementation can begin.
- We cannot influence delays beyond our control (e.g., due to third-party systems).
- Support in third-party systems is only possible to a limited extent, as we cannot assume any responsibility there.
- In order to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, we ask that you involve the necessary people on your side at an early stage, be it your IT department or any LMS service providers.
